Can i set data sim(#2) to be primary data reciever for dual sim Oneplus 6?

[Android Central Question]

I know I cat set sim 1 for primary phone and text. Can I set sim 1 to only use data if sim 2 has no coverage? Sim 1 will be roaming in USA on a Canadian plan, Sim 2 is a data-only prepay Sim, AOW, who I think uses verizon roaming in USA. I am in a large truck and do not want to get lost and have to turn around. thanks!

I don;t know, but would it work for you (I know it will work for the phone) if you just switched the SIMS for the trip?
