Can I sync the albums in my gallery to google photos?

I have my photos uploaded on the Google photos app but still have them on my phone too. I have the photos on my phone organized into albums and want the photos on google photos to be organized the same way without having to make new albums and organize them all again. Is this possible?

Welcome to Android Central! No, you'd have to re-create the albums by using that feature in the Google Photos app or website.
