Can i sync two phones to my google account, syncing the calendar and not the contacts?

I have a Galaxy Note 8 (personal phone) and a Galaxy S9 (work phone). I want the 2 phones to sync my Google calendar together, but have separate contact lists (personal separate from clients.) Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! You could add your personal Google account to the work phone, but turn off every Google sync item except for Calendar in Settings>Accounts>Google​. I think that should prevent your contacts from commingling. In this situation, you'd simply have to toggle the personal or work calendars on/off in the Google Calendar app to display them.
