Can I transfer a SIM card from my phone to my husbands without any issues?

Best Buy transferred old phones to new wrong phones

Just purchased 2 new S5's today from Best Buy. Employees transferred my phone # and data to my husbands new phone, and his to my new phone. I chose a white phone and my husband has black. Is there an easy way to switch them? Can we just take the brains out and switch them? My husband is a mechanic, he can't have a white phone.

You can change the backs out, but not the edge plastic.
Essentially that will accomplish what you need.

However, your husband had better have a case on his phone or the phone won't be long for this world.
I highly suggest this one because it has rubbery grip ridges that will prevent the phone from slipping out of his hands when they are wet with oil. What? a mechanic gets oil on his hands? Nah, never happen

I have this case on my phone for the same reason. slippery hands in construction work.

but, there is another way around your dilema, simply ask your carrier to swap the phone numbers between the two devices. It would almost take them about 15 minutes.
