Can I transfer sim card from Galaxy Prevail to LG Volt 2

I have a LG Volt 2 that has no service, can I take my sim card from my Galaxy Prevail and put it into the LG Volt 2 without losing everything?

Yes you can. Just be sure to turn off the device when removing and inserting the SIM card.
