Can I turn off the Default Number option on my Galaxy S6?

If a contact in my favorites has more than one number associated with it. Every time I try to call that person a window pops up with the available numbers. So far so good, but then when you press the number you want to call you must also choose between "mark as default" or "just once" EVERY TIME.

For most of these contacts choosing a default number would be more trouble than it's worth because the number I want changes depending on time of day etc. I would just like to skip that step entirely.

Welcome to Android Central! The way I get around this is by creating Direct Dial widgets for the homescreen, which I keep in a Speed Dial folder.
