Can I unlock S10e from Verizon by flashing?

Hi,
I bought a "used" S10e thinking it was unlocked like all Verizon devices after a short period of usage. Now it actually never was used on the Verizon network and is therefore still locked. The bad news - I am in Central America, e.g. outside the US, far away from any chance to connect to Verizon and I can't use it here with my local carrier.
I flashed it with G970U1 firmware but it still is locked! keeps telling me to contact Verizon. Is there any other firmware or different method I can try?

Hi, welcome to AC!

I could of saved you the trouble flashing to unlocked firmware, there a reason why carriers do this to prevent people from abusing their system and end up taking the device for little money and going somewhere else and not pay the remainder amount . If you paid this device fully contact Verizon support with a email and proof of purchase im sure they can help you out , we won't go any further how to go around this .
