Lenovo would have to make an update for that device - or you'll be looking into custom ROMs.

Lenovo has started rolling out updates for Android L to Lenovo Vibe X2 in India.

yes you can but i would suggest to go ahead only if warranty period is over because if you do so then warranty will be void as you need to root first device if there is no online updates available..
