Can i use a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus on Straight Talk?

Thinking of buying an S6 Edge Plus from best buy for a verizon phone, because as i know of, straight talk uses the towers of whatever phone provider the phone is from (to my knowledge, but I don't know a whole lot about phones), and I'm just wondering it it will work and i can transfer the phone to straight talk if it is a verizon one and if it will use verizon towers.

For Sprint and Verizon, you'd have to check Straight Talk Compatibility Test and you'd need the ESN of the particular phone you want to bring to them. For AT&T or TMobile, there's no problem, just get the appropriate (AT&T or TMobile) SIM card from Straight Talk, put it into the phone and follow the instructions that come with the card. (With GSM you can use any phone the card will fit into [with or without an adapter], with CDMA, it's up to the carrier - that's how they "lock" the phones, by not activating a phone they don't want to activate.)
