Can I use any micro USB charger for the Note 4?

I understand that I need the 9v wall adapter to take advantage of the rapid charging, but can I use an ordinary micro USB charger for the Note 4? (i.e., 5V 1A)

Yes. I use the old charger at night next to the bed. I only use the quick charger if I watched a game on watch ESPN app and need a quick boost.

Yes. I use an old Blackberry charger on the night stand to charge over night. It takes a few hours to charge. But I don't care.

really?? mine doesn't. I have the verizon one and my old htc charger won't fit in there ...maybe if a jammed it but I'm reluctant to do that and I don't think it would be good for the phone in the long run.

Sounds as though the charger end may be damaged. I use the charger from my HTC m8 at night. And a Z30 charger in. My office. Any micro USB will work.
