See I love the "always on display" feature on the LG g5, but it drains batteries. And now I got a flip cover that hides the proximity sensor so it wont turn off when the phone is facing down or in my pocket. So now the "always on display is litteraly always on display. I know the g3 has a magnet sensor to detect when the cover is closed or open, is it the case with the g5? If I poke a hole in the cover where the proximity sensor is, will the phone still know when the cover is on? If I knew where the magnet sensor is I would be able to test it but I can't find any pictures or videos. I hope I'm clear enough. Thanks for your help!
