AC Question

I originally purchased the Galaxy S 7 Note. However, due to the recall I swapped out the Note for the Galaxy S 7 Active. Unfortunately, I had already put in for the free 256 gb SD card to put into the Note.
When I receive the 256 gb SD card, can I still use that in the galaxy S 7 Active. Or is the maximum SD card the Active can utilize is 200 gig?
Thanks in advance.
Bob

should work fine; they say 200GB, but the hardware is capable of 2TB if i am not mistaken, and i believe the software is as well, its just not 'tested/certified' for 256GB.

i have a 1999 Dell XPS B800r desktop running Windows 98... with a 1TB SSD and TRIM works fine. Why? Because i can.

It will work, Im waiting on my SD card, I was emailed FedEx info and was suppose to be delivered yesterday, FedEx shows not even shipped as of today.:(

Thanks but I wish I (you) could be more sure. I just got it and actually was online chatting with Samsung (about something else). But during the conversation, he said the S7 Active could only use a 200 gb card....I hate to open the 256gb card package only to find out he is right....any thoughts how I could get more positive answer?
Thanks in advance

That certainly looks pretty good. I went to the AT&T corporate store yesterday and they even said no 200 was a max. I want to call Samsung customer service today and see what I can do but that ad does make me feel better. Where did you find that ad? I would like to go to the website.

I did the same thing , I already had the card and it picked it up as a 256

256GB works in S7 Active; used my free Samsung 256GB from the Note 7 in my S7 Active just fine.

I don't think Samsung would offer a 256 gb card on a particular model phone then use that phone's MAC address, IMEI# and receipt for that phone to verify eligibility if it couldn't be used in that phone. Stranger things have happened but I doubt it.
