I have tried wired screen mirroring to a computer through a USB Debugging method and I have experienced frame drops (Slower performance of my mobile).

Now my question is, does MHL (HDMI) method also slow down a phone's performance?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain it's your phone's performance that's slowing down, or is it just the connection? Do you see the frame drops on the phone screen itself?

Which phone are you using?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I see the frame drops and slow performance of my phone when I watch YouTube with 1080p or above quality while Screen Mirroring.
I am using this method: https://youtu.be/gemhvq3pdE8

Can I ask one more thing?
Which one method is the best method for android screen mirroring
1. The method I mentioned above
OR
2. MHL ALT Mode

You didn't mention which phone you have yet. As mustang7757 alluded to, if the phone is underpowered, mirroring the screen might be a little taxing for the system.
