Can my galaxy s7 video call to an iPhone 6s?

I just bought a galaxy S7 (not edge) and I noticed that there is a video call function. I've only had the phone for a week now so I'm still trying to figure everything out. My wife has an iPhone 6s and of course she has FaceTime. I pretty sure FaceTime is only for iPhones but is there anyway to video call/FaceTime each other without using a 3rd party app (ex: Skype, oovoo, etc.) Any feedback would be appreciated, thank you!

Most likely you will have to download a 3rd party app due to the different ecosystems, but if both of you have the same carrier, then there may be a way...not 100% sure
