Can N5 Turn on Screen When a Notification Arrives?

No you wouldn't want that without an amoled display. It would kill the battery of the Nexus 5.

You want Lightflow - it can turn the screen on for 5 seconds for any notification you choose, and change the colour and speed of the LED flashing.

I don't think it uses up much battery.

ACDisplay works great on my N5 doesn't kill the battery at all.
