can NO LONGER connect to my home WiFi error EVERY TIME "Incorrect Password"

My Samsung Galaxy S4 can NO LONGER connect to my home WiFi, EVERY TIME I TRY I GET the following pop up error: "incorrect password" EVEN THOUGH it has NEVER changed, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRY TO re-type the password in. I can even log into my modem on a computer and verify that it IS indeed the correct password!!! I have "show password" checked so I AM entering it correctly but still no avail!!!

try changing router password to a simple short word number password with no special characters as a test like -

then reboot everything and try to connect again.

The router is definitely the issue unless you have other devices that can connect.
I have a crappy router RCN gave me and it goes out twice a week.
Power cycle the router or change the network password as suggested.
