Can not access Google Playstore

Whenever i click the icon it will always go back to main menu and qoute of "unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped. What shall I do?

Go to settings>apps>all and then find the play store and then tap on clear data

Note that this will remove your Google wallet and account settings for playstore.
