Can only watch YT vids using Puffin browser

Since the garbage that is 4.4 (now 4.4.2) kitkat was forced upon us I am only able to watch youtube vids if I use puffin. And even that is jerky or restarts halfway thru a clip.
Chrome, firefox, opera, dolphin do not work.
Does anyone else have this problem? If not, how do you get round it plz?
Mine is not rooted so I am hoping any solutions don't need that.

Does the YouTube app not work? Is that a locality thing? I'm assuming you're trying to watch them via Flash, which at least has the commonality of not working in most browsers post KK.

Which means what? Bend over and take it or sell and get a windows or ipad

I'm having trouble watching videos on YouTube too it tends to force quit the app while I'm watching videos and I have nothing else open but I havent tried on chrome though

No problems with YouTube using Chrome or the app. I did do a factory reset after the update for other reasons. Don't know if that may make a difference.
