Can somebody help me figure out what is causing this?

In my opinion, this is normal. Sense roms tend to eat battery power. Assuming your battery is good, things may be running in the background, resident, but not actually doing anything. You can try juice defender and see if that helps, you can use a scheduled task killer, and try disabling things like auto sync and things that don't need to be on when your phone is idle. Just some thoughts. Hope it helps. Like I said, sense rom's tend to chew battery power. I tend to stick with asop, personally. I get better life (e.g. I am using jelly blur. Phone has been off charge 12 hours. I've used 29% battery).

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't seem to me to be very normal because it only happens occasionally. That would lead me to believe it's an app causing the issue, however the only information my phone is giving me is that it's an Android process, according to system panel, specifically the battery. Which doesn't give me many leads. I was just wondering if anybody has seen something similar that could help narrow it down.

PS, I'm using seido's 2750 mah battery and was at 35% in about 8hours and it was warmer than normal when I noticed. Thanks again.
