That's not lag (which has to do with internet responsiveness), it's a slow phone. Why? Almost any part of the phone (CPU, GPU, RAM, ROM, anything) can cause that. It's an expensive phone, so it may pay to have it analyzed and repaired.
Well, whether you call it lag or a slow phone, mine is the same way from time to time. I've been trying to note what circumstances might be causing it (such as certain apps running or whatever). Anyone else?
As another poster has stated, it may be wise to contact LG customer support online (they're usually quite good at responding promptly) and see what they say.
Mine started to lag quite badly as well. Takes 3-4 presses to input a letter or number from the keyboard for example. Happened all of a sudden so will try to reset it and setup as new and report back.
Never had any lag whatsoever except a week or so ago, the Facebook app downloaded an update, and playing a few videos in-line caused the phone to lag and freeze badly. Facebook updated their app a few days later, and the problem has gone away. I think its usually apps that can cause slowness.
You haven't recently sideloaded Pokemon Go have you
Also, if you havent turned your phone off and on for a while, that's always a good plan with Android just to clear out all running processes.
Ah... just noticed your battery is at 11%. Almost certainly battery saver has kicked in, and will throttle the cores, deliberately to save battery. If you turn your phone off and on again, and charge it up, try running Geekbench again. I got with 1% of the scores posted online.
