Can the AM/PM be removed from status bar?

I've searched here and the Google, with no joy.
I asked the Bixby gal, but she gave me flight info.

The only way I know it can be removed is if you use a 24hr clock (i.e. 22:00 instead of 10:00pm)

Oh, thanks! I haven't run across that setting and I really did go thru each.
That may be worth it to regain the real estate.

Shoot, that would have been a good place to find the AM/PM.
Changes the lock screen clock as well. Giving it a whirl.
