Can the Nexus 6P work on Cricket Wireless?

Nexus 6P on Cricket Wireless

Hello! I am currently using an HTC Desire 816 from Virgin Mobile and I am ready for a bit of an upgrade to a more high end phone. Love the front facing speakers and large screen display. I saw that the Nexus 6P had everything I was looking for in a phone. I contacted Virgin Mobile about buying an unlocked Nexus 6P and using it on their service but they only allow Virgin Mobile certified phones. I heard that people have been able to use their Nexus 6 on Cricket Wireless. I am just wondering if the new Nexus 6P could work on Cricket Wireless as well. Reason I am picking Cricket is because of the price. Does anyone know if I bought an unlocked Nexus 6P from the Google Store and bought the universal Cricket SIM card will it work?

Yes it will work. I have a Nexus 5 from the Google store and it works with on cricket. I order Nexus 6p and I will new sim from cricket for my 6p. Cricket uses AT&T towers with the same bands.

You might have to manually create the APN settings but there is no reason it shouldn't work. My Nexus 6 (and Nexus 5 before that) works great on Cricket.

I don't see a problem, either, based on the bands that the N6P supports and because my N4 works fine on Cricket.
