AC Question

Does anybody know of an app that will work with the Samsung S6 for inverted bar codes? I have just about tried all of them on Google Play store, but non can make the S6 scan white code on dark background.
And yes, i have tried the "invert scan" setting, it still doesn't work.

However, on a different phone, the image actually inverted and the scan went through.

Thanks

Bar codes are blackstripes on white background - it's in the standard. No one is going to write a reader to read the reverse of the standard. If someone is printing barcodes that way, they have a problem, because what they're printing looks like a bar code but isn't. (If the packaging is black, the standard requires a white box in which there's a black bar code.)

With some scanner technology, reading an inverted code is a side effect of the technology, but it's still not part of the standard.

Please do not post some random stuff if you don't know what you are talking about. This will keep other people from answering.

I have some news for you, but not the rest of the world. Many bar codes are inverted (look closely next time you go to the grocery store), because industrial pigmented printers are printing in white ink if needed for dark materials. And believe me, we manufacture million dollar machines that do exactly that.
If you say that nobody "is going to write a inverted reader software", you are also wrong. All bar code scanning apps from the Play Store that I downloaded support it.
However, they will state that it is device dependent and while it works on my colleagues phone it will not work on mine, a Samsung S6.
It might have something to done with the camera or the video chip used.
So my question was, does anybody know of an APP that supports a S6?
Thanks
