Can the sync number on AT&T be used directly

I just swapped to an LTE version and I was wondering if it is possible to directly use the watch's number?

They assigned a really cool number to the watch. If I call it I get a message that it's not accepting calls.

Sadly, it does not work that way. But, you can go to the store and get the lines switched.

I've had my old one since 2001 so I'm too invested in the old one anyway. But my watch number (masked out) is *00-0*00.
