Can the VM Galaxy S3 be rooted?

I haven't found specifics for VM, but have seen related Sprint instructions. Has it been done, and what files would I need?

I'm not familiar with a carrier named VM, but you could try using Towelroot (http://towelroot.com). Just click on the lambda symbol and download the apk, install it and run it.
