Can this be removed off home screen?!

Is there a setting somewhere to remove the flashing up arrow and the text saying "swipe up for apps'"?!

Sorry, not sure of the answer. However, where did you get that wallpaper? Thanks...

It's just one of the defaults in settings/wallpapers

That's normal , it tips or hints how to do it,should go away after little time .

I use Nova launcher and that prompt is removed when you opt for swiping horizontally.
