Can you calibrate touch accuracy S8+?

The touch accuracy seems a bit off, especially the home screen when I go to open an app, it tends to open the app above it, so I have to touch lower then I think to hit the app I want to open. I am using Nova, so I'm not sure if it's a nova issue (been using nova for many years across different phones and have never seen this) or if this is a phone issue.

Does anybody know if there is a way to calibrate the touch screen?

Don't think it's a Nova issue as I've used Nova for years without coming across that. Have you tried the diagnostics screen to test touch? Go to your phone app and dial
