can you change background colours?

Im sure this has been asked a million times. Im new to the samsung and really not feeling the overall blackness of the screens (messaging, menus, contacts backgrounds... all that)

Can anyone tell me how i'd be able to change it please?

only in messaging. click on settings click on background style.
There are background apps you can get for wallpapers. look in the marketplace.

You can also change the vackground to anything you want on the homescreens. I just use pictures that are on my sd card. But I have read that you can make slideshow that will scroll pictures for your backgrounds.
