Can you change the default In-Call Volume?

Every time I call someone or someone calls me, the In-Call volume is on max. I will change it during the call to about halfway with the volume rocker on the side. If I then make another call or receive a call right away, then the In-Call volume stays at what I changed it to during the previous call. However, if someone calls me again after a given amount of time, say an hour later, the In-Call volume is again on max. It's very frustrating because it's a little too loud for me. Any way to change this? Or at least have the change during one call to persist through future calls?

I have the exact same prob, it is extremely annoying. Just switched to Kitkat, there seem to be alot of problems. I still havent found a solution. Someone pls help!!
