Can you diable the ratios on the S8 Photo Editor?

Whenever I want to crop something it is always showing the ratios thing and it automatically locks to it and it locks from a good chunk of the screen away. I need to crop a black bar out of a photo for a school project but when I try to it locks into the 9:16 ratio and ends up taking out some text. This is rarely helpful and it would be great if someone knew a way to disable this. In the meantime i will see if i can just use a different photo editor. Thx
