I have a photosphere that I want to edit but I'm wondering if doing that, when you save the edited image, will it lose the photosphere data/tags inside the image and no longer be seen as a photosphere by the phone? Does anyone know if you can edit it with photoshop?

YES! You can! I opened it in GIMP, edited the photo (kept it named PANO_...) and saved it as a JPG. Then I put it on the phone and when I opened it up, it had the photosphere button and it worked!

Yeah - that Pano prefix seems to be the trigger. I bet you can name any old pic with the pano prefix and maybe you get some weird viewing options.

I'll give that a try.

Hey, you can take you photo sphere that you edited in GIMP and then upload it to this site and it will add the required metadata so it's recognized as a photo sphere.

Yes,
i opened a photosphere with photoshop and edited it and worked,
and i uploaded it again to Google+, and add it to Google Maps views,
it worked normally as photosphere.
