Can you eliminate the ability to add stickers to your text messages?

Hate that the update planted the sticker icon right onto the message line. I would like to remove stickers completely so no way to add them in any text messages I send.
Is there a way to do this?

I don't think you can remove it but you can always change the SMS app to another.
