Is it a SCH-I535?
Does it have the stock firmware (4.1.2; MF1)?
Do you still have a Verizon account?
If so, you should be able to get a SIM from Verizon and get it activated.

Yes it was originally a Verizon phone on Verizon plan. And yes it is a Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 I am not sure what Stock firmware is and no I do not have a Verizon account I went to page plus and terminated verizon account. I went to a cell phone store checking for something cheaper than verizon and he said he could put me on page plus with my verizon phone so I let him flash it but that is all I know and now I want it back.

If they flashed it to Page Plus then it might be difficult in getting it flashed back to Verizon. Best thing to do is take it to a Verizon store and see if they can activate it. If so, then no worries. If not, they will tell you why and you would need to go from there.

From a quick read through their website it seems likely that they "flashed" your phone to their network by replacing the SIM with one activated on their network. If that's the case then you just need to reopen your Verizon account and get them to provide you with a new SIM. You'll need to make sure you've taken care of closing your account with Page Plus.

On your phone, take a look at Settings -> About phone - it should look something like this:

P.S. Personally, I'd look somewhere other than Verizon; you could get a Nexus 4 through the Google Play Store for a smoking deal and go with T-Mobile and end up spending a lot less, depending on your needs of course. YMMV.
