can you make folders in the photos section of the droid turbo?

I can't find a way to make folders in the photo section of my droid turbo. It had camera roll, downloads, screen shots. But won't let me make a named folder to store pictures in.

Welcome to Android Central! The folders in the Gallery app are based on the directory name that the images are stored in. You can use a file manager app like the stock one or ES File Explorer to create a new directory, then copy or move photos into it. That new directory will show up in the Gallery app as another folder. I don't think you can move photos around in the Gallery app, though--you'd have to move them using the file manager.

The stock Gallery app does not have functionality to do this, but you can install an app from the Play Store that can. QuickPic is a good choice, and the folders that you create in QuickPic will show up under the "albums" section of the stock Gallery app.

You can also do the same by connecting your phone to your computer and using the computer to create a new folder on the Turbo and drag photos there, or with a third party file explorer app on the Turbo, such as ES File Explorer. Any folders with photos will show up in the "albums" section of the Gallery app.
