Can you permanently disable the led?

Drives me nuts at night. I have it turned off under main settings. However a number of apps such as Facebook still flash. I even turned off Facebook notifications and it still does it. I would prefer just to kill them all the way. Maybe duct tape? :-)

Go to Settings/LED indicator and uncheck all 3 boxes. Done.

And if that doesn't work, you can always use a nice piece of electrical tape over the LED.

Ummmm. Yeah. Tried that. LED still burns bright non stop all night. So annoying.... I'm new to the android OS, but this isn't the first time I've seen an app over ride system settings.

Bummer. Worked perfectly for me.

Tried turning off the notifications, but now my messaging app is doing it too and doesn't have a LED off setting. I wish the master LED on/off setting worked. I have no use for the LED's at all. Even during the day.

Wish I could. I have a standup charger that does a second battery at the same time. I've resorted to putting a tshirt over it at night.
