Does the tablet have a SIM card? This device and the topic of SIM cards has come up in the past, I don't think it supports them. Without a SIM slot, you can't put the device directly on a carrier.

This is a Wi-Fi only tablet, so it isn't compatible with any mobile network. If this is something you are looking to buy but don't have yet, I suggest avoiding it all together. It has junk specs by today's standards and will do little more than basic web browsing, but even that would be slow. You couldn't pay me to take one.
