Can you suggest a game?

Sorry if this is supposed to go elsewhere. I scrolled but missed it if there was something posted on this. First off. I am NOT a gamer so I am not looking to play games of way/fighting and so on, especially ones where you apparently keep having to pay to advance. I played Trivia Crack for a long time and got up to something like well over 1000 games finished but it just became too monotonous. Not into games that were started for kids and things like that so I know this limits me big time. Anything on Google Play you'd recommend? Or Samsung games as well if you think it is worth it. (Assuming they have games on there)

The world's most obvious game is Pokémon Go, if you are willing to put the steps in.
Not a chance. No offense intended of course. I really know nothing about it but what I've heard it just does not appeal to me. EDIT: Grade school spelling mistake.

It'd still help to know what kinds of games you like. Puzzle? Strategy? RPG?
I really do not know. I'm the old man here. Grew up playing games the old fashion way. Like I said. I did play Trivia Crack for a long time but it became boring. Shooting games could be fun but I know from listening to others you're aways having to pay to move forward. To upgrade but maybe this is just the way today.

None taken, going outside as an awful prospect lol
A few years ago I was visiting our daughter and grandson in another state and wanted to see a memorial there located off the local base. When we arrived there were a lot of young people there sitting on the memorial but on their phones. I thought it was cool that so many were there to see this but why sit on the phone gawking at it. My daughter told me it was folks playing Pokemon and even my young grandson seemed to know this. I had no clue.

I tried Pokemon Go a couple years ago and thought it was so cool to catch these things and my dad would be like what are you doing and I would show him. That was probably 3 phones ago like on my 7 edge maybe. I like multi player games and used to love Trivia Crack. I play Song Pop just against one person but we've been playing against each other for so long I just keep playing. My favorite was Hanging With Friends which is gone. Scrabble is ok I'm not into it as much and I used to play Dice With Buddies alot but I think it changed and is different now.

If you want to try a bunch of free and ad-free casual games that don't require installation, check out gamesnacks.com -- it's run by Google, and is a collection of browser-based games. Some of them can be pretty addictive.

If you subscribe to Netflix, there are a bunch of games published by Netflix that are free, without any ads or in-game purchases -- just do a search in the Play Store for "Netflix." The two Stranger Things RPG games are particularly fun.

I suggest you try Euchre 3D by A-Star Software LLC in the Google Play store. For those who don't know, Euchre is a popular card game here in Michigan (and probably many other places as well) and is similar to Hearts. I use it to pass the time while waiting for a Dr. appt, waiting in line somewhere, etc., anywhere I have time to kill.

It's great for little points of interest. There are several murals and statues hidden around my city that I had no idea were there until I started playing Pokémon Go..

I really like DropWords 2 on Google Play. It has certain echoes of Scrabble, but it is fast-paced and timed
Is it a multi player game? I like those. I have one called Wordzee that I kind of like. I used to play Boggle with Friends I think it was called not sure if your into Muti Player or not.

Here are a few more that are free and ad-free (or at least don't require you to view ads unless you want to get some extras):

Note that some of these apps might not be compatible with current phones that only run 64-bit games, since they might be old 32-bit games.
