Can you Talk Via Bluetooth

When you call directly from the watch can you talk via Bluetooth or can you only use the speaker? I can hear music via Bluetooth but I can't figure out how to talk to someone via Bluetooth. I have an older pair of Bluetooth headphones so I don't know if that is the issue or not.

You can't use BT headset on watch if it is connected to the phone via BT and already served as BT headset for the phone. However, if the watch is not close to phone and you answer or make calls from watch's own number, the BT headset connected to the watch should work (but I have not tested).

If you have phone and watch with you, connect your BT headset to the phone instead. But then, you can't answer calls from the watch if you assigned your BT headset to take over the phone calls. This is one area that AW lags behind Samsung.

Also, the manual says that it only supports stereo Bluetooth headphones. Does not support mono headphones. Looking forward to what you find out out. Haven't bought mine yet but planning too.

Saw a review that said it doesn't support making phone calls through Bluetooth yet. You have to use the speaker to make a phone call.

I may have seen the same review but he was using a mono headset. Asked if he could get A stereo headset but no answer.

Just tried pair the watch with my car (BT headset only, not BT stereo profile). It pairs but can't connect.

Foxbat121, thanks for the response. What are your feelings on the watch? Are you keeping it?

I only have a mono headset, and I can get it to play music through it, and I get notification sounds, but it will not pass phone calls through to it from watch. Disappointed about that. Would like to answer calls on watch while I locate my headset and transfer to headset, but no go on that.

This watch will not connect to make calls via blue tooth. Tried a pair of Jay Bird wireless stereo headphones. The only sound I get through them is music. It would be nice if they would update this. I just can't see myself talking in a public area on a speaker phone. It seems like a basic add that they did not think about.

Very basic. Which makes me think that they'll add it in a future update.
