I currently have the Pixel Xl (1st gen) and need to purchase a new phone before traveling for a few months. I am considering upgrading to a newer pixel or going with a s9plus but am concerned about how to get my photos from google photos and on my current phone to galaxy phone. Since the phone is working still can I just transfer them over? Will it only take the photos taken on the device or can I transfer all my photos on google photos as well. I will lose my unlimited google storage with a change to a galaxy phone, correct?
