Can you Update with OTA if you have stock recovery but custom Kernel on HTC one

I've got my phone rooted and custom recovery istalled but i know how to put stock recovery, the main issue is that I've got a custom Kernel installed and don't know how to get a stock kernel. I want to update through OTA, will the custom Kernel block the update or am I fine to update?

The custom kernel and rooting will both stop OTA. You have to flash the stock ROM (including kernel), update, then reroot and change the kernel.

I'm running stock ROM, I've got stock recovery, I can unroot. it's just the kernel that's custom and I was wondering if there is someone stock kernel zip

The Thread where you got the kernel should have the stock kernel to. If not ask for it
