Canadian Galaxy Note 3 Charge Time On vs. Off

I've had my Rogers Note 3 for about ten days now, and noticed something interesting. It seems to actually charge a bit faster while on (albeit not doing anything) than off (with the same stock charger of course.) I went from 1-100% in about 2 hours flat while on, about 2.5 hours (same percentages) while off. Anyone else seeing this?

I don't think I've turned mine off yet I always charge while on and find that it takes right around the 2 hour mark to go from 15% back up to 100%.
