Canadian XZ2 update in US

I bought a used zx2 locally and was told it's factory unlocked. Works fine with tmobile. But I'm stuck on android 9 and I don't have a pc to manually flash, is there a way to update it? Looked up model number and was told it's the unlocked Canadian version.

Won't update even thought it says android 10 is available.

Have you tried powering off, removing SIM, powering on using WiFi only and then attempting update?

Ive since reset the phone and been using my iPhone so no sim at all and yes on WiFi but says up to date.

I'm here in States and went and updated and flashed to the UK version. I did this to activate the side finger sensor.

As for updates, I am stuck on the same version of software as you. Stinks
