Cannot add multiple numbers to one contact on note 9 and android 9. Cant find the + sign,

Click on the contact. Go to the bottom of the screen where it says edit.

Yeah, I just checked mine and it's there? Just hit the "+" and it opens another phone entry for the contact you're editing!

At least 2 ways of adding a number to a contact:
1. Type in the number in the dialer, look above and click on Add to contacts. Then select update existing contact from the options.
2. Go to the contact, tap on edit at the bottom left and then tap on the + icon ( on the right) under PHONE where the numbers are.

I prefer number 1
