Both phone and Tucson car are UK spec.
motorola G6 Plus 2018.
Unable to connect this phone to Hyundai Tucson 2018 infotainment system by USB cable. car has Android auto installed. Car system checked and functions correctly with a Samsung phone.
Therefore unable to have Android Auto on car screen. Car system does not "see" the G6 Plus phone. Error message on car screen states "These functions only available when connected by USB". Have tried 4 different cables (ANKER included) & various suggestions from Motorola "engineers". All to no avail.
Motorola however do not say "phone is incompatible with Hyundai LG infortainment system". Simply that they have not tested it.
Anyone any suggestions.

Try one of the following:
1. Different USB cable. Some cables are charge only. AA needs a data cable.

2. Try different USB port on the car. Most cars only have 1 USB port support AA/CarPlay.

Also, 1st time connect, you need to register the phone with car. Some cars doesn't automatically do that.
