Cannot copy entire update.zip to sdcard

I am having a problem copying update.zip to my sdcard on my DX. I get about 75% into the copy process and get a message "Cannot copy file - device has either quit responding or has been disconnected". Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I have tried it multiple times with the same result. thanks

Fixed! The USB setting was not set to sdcard. thanks
