Hello, i am starting this post, since there were a number of post already made similar to this, but none could provide a valid solution.
U see i want some files and documents be transferred from my phone memory to memory card. My mobile is Samsung Galaxy Core 2 SM-G355H
I understand Samsung has disabled those feature after releasing Android 4.2.2 Kitkat and above i suppose.
But i read a lot about rooting and what is it.
The main question is how can i achieve to copy/paste files and documents from phone to SSD card.

I hope my question is simple, i could really use some expert opinion here.

You shouldn't need root to do that as long as you're doing it via the stock File Manager (the only app with full read/write access to the SD Card). And the SD card permissions were not removed by Samsung, it's an Android thing.

If you still want to give other apps access, you can root your device (plenty of guides out there on how to do this) and apply the SD card hack, or the Xposed framework might work, not really sure if it includes full SD Card access.

I have installed fx File explorer and it doesn't give me full access to SD Card.
Also performing the task of rooting the device a one time job, in case if i needed to factory reset my device, will i need to re-root the device once more, following the guide.
I have few questions like: after i follow some procedure to root my device, will i be able to factory reset my device like before,
and does it do some real damage to the device if done uncorrectly.

Fx File Explorer is a 3rd party app, and as such, will not give you full access to the SD card unless rooted/hacked. The only app in your phone that has that 'power' out of the box is the stock File Manager (in Samsung phones, usually called MY FILES).

After you root, you CAN factory reset as before. But the rooting procedure is inherently dangerous. You are letting the full contents of your phone out in the open, so if something goes wrong or you delete the wrong file, that can permanently damage your phone's system. Think of a car. The 'innards' are protected by the hood to avoid anything being taken out or getting damaged by weather, right? Take the hood out, and you gain access to whatever's inside. THIS is rooting. You're basically removing the hood over your phone's core files, and granting full access to them. Now, if you remove the windshield wiper motors because it never rains in your town, your car still runs. But remove the battery cable and your car will never start. Furthermore, rip off a core part of the motor, and your car will never run again. Same thing with your phone. Once rooted, if something goes wrong, it has the potential to permanently damage your phone.

On the 'good side', having access to your car's internals gives you the option to install cool add-ons, like turbo charging, Xenon lights, etc. Same thing with your phone. Once rooted, if done properly, you have much more options to customize your device.

Thank you for the explanation, it helped me a lot in a different way:
i would like to know one last thing:
Is it a one step process or a one time job.

Rooting? It's usually a somewhat lengthy process (it's not super hard, and there are plenty of people that have made very easy to follow guides and tested this numerous times, so the risk is reduced), but it's usually not a -downlod app, run, done- kind of thing.

Yes, thank you again, but what i want to know is, this rooting the device thing, is it a one time job.
After a factory recovery, does one need to re-root the device.
Thank you for your patience.

you can try copy your files indirectly by:
- Save your files to cloud
- Down and save them to SD card

No what i mean is, after the process of rooting the device, if i factory reset the device again due to virus attack or missing system file failure.
Will i need to perform rooting job again on the device.
Thats all i need to know and decide to root the device or not.
Thank you again. :)

Oh! Haha, sorry... It also depends on how you update. When you root your device and you update via the 'official' channels (i.e. OTA, Kies), you will lose root and will need to do it again, just make sure that the root method is still valid for the new updated OS. If you update using modified ROMs, SOMETIMES they're modified to avoid losing root.

I have a solid state drive 128gb, it shows up in the bios and in device manager but not on 'My computer" . Can you please help me with this. What could be the problem? This is so annoying.
