Cannot download files to Xiaomi TV stick

[Android Central Question]

Hello,
I have a Xiaomi Android TV HDMI stick. The problem is, I cannot upload files to the stick. I have set the permissions accordingly. For example in Kodi. I added a NAS storage as location in the file browser. But if I try to download a file to the stick it just fails. Same with multiple other apps I tryed (FTP server, file browsers etc.). As said, I have granted write permission to all the tryed apps. So I presume there is something else preventing the writing.
How can I upload files to the bloody thing?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry it took so long. It did not work at first either. I realised that the problem was the NAS. I cannot transfer the files from the NAS, only from my PC. Not sure why but at least it works now.

Hi

I have a Xiaomi TV Stick 4K and I wanted to know if, by clearing the cache in the only place I found for that purpose, I also delete data such as logins, passwords, etc.
