Cannot find "Good Lock" in Galaxy Apps or install using apk on my Note 5.

Looking at other forums and websites, the instructions to download Good Lock tells you to search it in Galaxy Apps. However, there is no such item for me in Galaxy Apps. I then tried to install Good Lock using an apk file, which restarted my device after installation, but does not show up as an app anywhere, as if the installation did not happen. Any solutions to this? I would really like to use the Good Lock app but my Note 5 does not seem to be cooperating. Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central. IIRC Good Lock has to be enabled for your device as it's an upgrade to what's already on the phone, not a new app.

it was available prior to the 7.0 update but was then disabled for Nougat Galaxy devices..so it will bot appear any longer till Samsung updates it to work for the newer operating system.

apkmirror has the "lastest" version of Good Lock UI but it is not compatible on 7.0, sadly.
