Cannot re add chrome button on home screen

[Android Central Question]

I have a pixel 6 running Android 12
I accidentally pressed disable on Chrome in my apps and ot removed it from my home screen. I cannot find anywhere in apps to re pin it.

I thought if I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it would automatically go to my home screen like when you download any app. But because it is built into the phone, it just says update.

How can I re add the icon?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the system settings, then Apps, then "See all apps." Select Chrome there and tap Enable.
