Cannot "replay to all" in text messaging in Galaxy Note 4

I have a Galaxy Note 4, less than one year old.

i am unable to reply to everyone in a group that is taking part in messaging conversations. My only option is to reply to the individual to sent a message, unless i use the Add a Recipient - which is impossible when some of the people in such groups are not in my contacts.

I receive text messages sent to groups all the time. Sometimes there are three people, sometimes twenty-three.

Sometimes I have no idea what text messages even mean, since they come in out of the blue, often from people I do not know, because they are not being kept with all the other messages texted to the group.

And clearly I am the only person with this issue taking part in these conversations.

I find NOTHING in the Help or Settings that deals with replying to groups of recipients. There is no "reply to all" or "reply to group."

I have found internet queries that claim pressing on the text bubble of a message will bring up a menu that has such a feature. Only, MY phone does NOT have any such feature on the menu that appears.

I am using the exact same Metro PCS account I was using with an iPhone, that included the ability to reply to a group by default.

I cannot believe in this day and age when business is conducted more and more through text messaging that a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 does not allow this!

I am hoping therefore, that there is some way to fix this.

Welcome back! Is your mobile data turned on? Group texts are sent as MMS messages, and therefore require mobile data (not voice signal or wi-fi).

Also, which messaging app are you using? You already mentioned checking the settings, but check again. On my Hangouts app (which I use for SMS/MMS as well), there's an option to turn Group Messaging on or off.
